The program of innovative grants, aimed at supporting start-ups, will be reinforced as part of the formation of innovation hubs in the implementation of the second five-year industrialization. Five centers of competence in cooperation with leading foreign companies are created on the basis of the Park of innovation technologies, said Zhenis Kasymbek, Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan at a cabinet meeting today, BNews.kz reports.
In addition, the Minister spoke about the provision of productive employment in the framework of industrialization.
"Taking into account the growth of productivity is accompanied by layoffs; we aim to maintain employment in the manufacturing sector at the level of 2015 - 515 thousand people. Layoffs will be offset by the creation of new high-quality permanent jobs at enterprises launched within the framework of industrialization," said Zh.Kasymbek.
