On 19 May 2018, the Astana Economic Forum, in its new form as the Global Challenges Summit, came to a close. New agendas and a revised format of events allowed the worldwide expert community to join together in search of solutions to the global challenges standing before all of humanity.
Several brainstorming sessions happened during the course of the session and were around 6 core development sessions in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Baktizhan Sagintaev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as other key speakers will participate at the session. The start of the session is at 10 AM at Al-Farabi hall.

An agreement has been reached at the AEF 2018 Global Challenges Summit following the completion of negotiations that have been running since 2016.
