In Kazakhstan, over the last 10 years the output in agriculture has increased by 41%. Thanks to it, agricultural products to the EEU countries exported for 379 million dollars, the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Asylzhan Mamytbekov said at the parliamentary hearings "Increase of competitiveness of domestic agrarian sector in the conditions of EEU and WTO – legislative regulation and practical realization" in the Senate of parliament of Kazakhstan, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"Today the agro-industrial complex is not only one of steadily developing economy sectors, but economically attractive branch. At the same time throughout all time of formation of domestic agrosector the reliable partners were the countries of EEU. Over the last 10 years the output in agriculture has increased by 41%," the minister said.
In the hall of performance Mamytbekov has noted that "export of agricultural products and its processing has increased by 59% and has made more than 2 billion dollars, including to the countries of EEU export has made 379 million dollars."
"Investments into fixed capital of agriculture have increased to 167 billion tenge in 2015, or almost by 3.4 times," he added.
