OECD deepens coop in civil service with Kazakhstan

"The OECD brings together 34 most developed economies in the world and, of course, the experience of OECD countries and the Directorate for state administration is very important for all countries implementing reforms. We hope our cooperation will work for the benefit", - chairman of the Steering Committee of the Regional Hub in civil service in Astana Alikhan Baimenov said.

In turn, director of state administration and territorial development of the OECD Rolf Alter noted that Kazakhstan and OECD could establish close cooperation.

"High quality civil service is necessary to provide the best services to citizens and the business community. The OECD can provide a positive experience and best practices, not only for Kazakhstan, but also neighboring countries. After September 2015, when the objectives of sustainable development were declared, the world has become more unified, because it was clearly stated that in order the state to develop and become successful, it is necessary to ensure good government and high-quality professional civil service. But Kazakhstan started this path long before the UN goals of sustainable development had been announced. Kazakhstan has become a wonderful partner for us ", - said R. Alter.
