It is necessary to create favorable conditions for the integration of business and information technology for the country's economic development, said Asset Issekeshev, Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan during the discussion with the representatives of the World Bank and the countries of Central and South Asia, BNews.kz reports.
According to statistics, 3,2 bn dollars is spent on Internet use. A number of people reached to 13 mn people.
Minister noted that the number of Internet users in Kazakhstan has increased from 8% to 68% in 2006. It was the result of "Information Kazakhstan" state program, adopted in 2013.
On behalf of the Head of State the government is developing a new program that will create a new digital platform that will improve business opportunities and improve the quality of life of the population.
