Kazakhstan ready to play role of transit bridge between Europe and Asia - Sagintayev

First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev took part in the 15th session of the Boao Forum for Asia in Boao city (Hainan Province, China).

In his speech B.Sagintayev stressed that the Boao Forum for Asia on theme of "New Future of Asia: New Dynamics, New Vision" will contribute to deepening of cooperation in the subcontinent and search for ways of improvement of the global economy.

Asia is becoming the main platform of global international relations, and Kazakhstan with advantage of its unique geographical position, is ready to play the role of transit bridge between Europe and Asia, the first vice-premier said.

In addition, Bakytzhan Sagintayev has held a meeting with Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang, the President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank Jin Liqun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CITIC Construction Hong Bo. 
During the talks the sides discussed measures to promote comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China.
