The whole planet has turned into a global network of cities. Parag Khanna – a leading researcher at Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Administration and author of the books How to Manage the World, Second World, Technocracy in America, and Connectography: Mapping the Future of Global Civilization – believes that the world has changed – and that we cannot afford to ignore its new order. Only those states, able to support the participation of cities in this world of new connectivity will be successful in the future.
