Development of cooperation with OECD is one of the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose efforts to integrate into the most important international institutions have resulted in establishment of permanent substantive dialogue with OECD at the highest level. The OECD`s expertise is involved in the process of the most significant social and economic reforms development and implementation.
January 22, 2015, the Government of Kazakhstan and the OECD signed in Davos, Switzerland, a Memorandum of Understanding on a Country Programme, a key document that provides for development and implementation of reforms in key areas of social and economic development of Kazakhstan.
The session will discuss the implementation of a Country Programme`s projects in such areas as development of public administration system, investment climate optimization, innovations, strengthening social policy and comprehensive country review.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the OECD Douglas Frantz, heads of the OECD directorates and public authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan responsible for the Country Programme`s projects implementation will deliver speeches at the event. The session participants will learn about the projects implementation results and discuss the prospects for implementation of the OECD recommendations by the Republic of Kazakhstan.
