SLOWDOWN IN THE WORLD ECONOMY. TREND OR ABNORMALITY?
Share

The pace of growth of the world economy is declining and so is the ability of individual economies to adapt to the new conditions. Each new economic crisis carries more profound consequences. The last crisis in 2009 proved so severe that the growth rates of world GDP, for the first time in over 50 years, displayed negative results. Will the global economy achieve sustainable growth rates above 3%? Who is right, the techno-optimists or the supporters of long-term stagnation theory?
