ROBOTISATION AS A GLOBAL SOCIAL CHALLENGE AND AN OPPORTUNITY
Share

Since machines have started to take over more jobs, many people are either becoming unemployed or uncertain of their job prospects. Is the end of global growth upon us? On the one hand, these are just temporary obstacles necessary for the further growth of a radically - reorganized economy. Soon, robots may become our colleagues. On the other hand, there are a number of problems impeding the growth of the global economy. These include the debt epidemic and growing social stratification. Robotisation can potentially aggravate the current state of affairs. These problems may drag developing countries into a prolonged period of stagnation from which they will not be able to recover.
